These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Squish LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("Squish," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of squish.co and all associated services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, creating an account, or clicking "I agree," you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.
Squish provides the following services:
Squish acts as a reseller for certain services. Your use may also be subject to the terms of our upstream providers, including NameSilo, DigitalOcean, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services.
To access most Squish services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in abusive behavior.
Domain registrations are processed through NameSilo, an ICANN-accredited registrar. By registering a domain through Squish, you also agree to NameSilo's terms and ICANN's policies. You are the registrant and legal owner of any domain you register.
All domain registrations include free WHOIS privacy protection. We may be required to disclose your information in response to legal requests or ICANN disputes.
Domains must be renewed before expiration to remain active. Squish is not liable for domain loss due to failure to renew. Auto-renewal may be enabled in your account settings.
Disputes are handled under ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP). Squish will comply with all legitimate transfer or takedown orders from authorized dispute resolution bodies.
Uptime SLA. Squish guarantees 99.9% monthly uptime for paid hosting services (Web Hosting and Managed Cloud), measured per calendar month. Availability is measured by external checks against your site at least every two minutes; downtime is counted from the first failed check. Excluded from the calculation: scheduled maintenance announced at least 24 hours in advance, downtime caused by the customer or the customer's applications, outages of upstream or third-party providers outside our reasonable control, and force-majeure events. Any period in which our monitoring itself was not running is excluded from the measurement rather than counted as available, and is reported to you as unmeasured.
Where availability is published. Platform-wide availability and any announced maintenance windows are published at squish.co/status. Availability for your own services is shown in your dashboard, per service and per calendar month, including the individual outages counted against the month — we do not publish individual customers' availability publicly. Managed AWS engagements carry their own contractual SLA.
Service credits. If verified monthly uptime falls below 99.9%, you may request a credit against that month's hosting fee for the affected service: 10% for 99.0% up to 99.9%, 25% for 95.0% up to 99.0%, and 50% below 95.0%. Credits are capped at 100% of that service's monthly fee, must be requested within 30 days of the affected month, and are your sole and exclusive remedy for downtime.
Backups are performed regularly, but you remain responsible for maintaining independent backups. Squish is not liable for data loss.
Managed email services are provided per mailbox. You agree not to use Squish email for spam, phishing, or communications that violate the CAN-SPAM Act or applicable law.
All payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. Squish does not store full credit card numbers — payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
Prices are listed in USD and subject to change with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscriptions.
Domain registrations may be refunded in full within 3 days of purchase. After 3 days, domain fees are non-refundable. Renewals are non-refundable.
Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the current paid period; partial months are not refunded. Prepaid multi-year plans may be cancelled at any time and are refunded for the unused months of the term, with service ending on cancellation. For VPS, a recovery snapshot is retained for 30 days so the server can be restored.
Email subscriptions may be cancelled for a full refund within Microsoft's 7-day cancellation window. After that window, the subscription runs to the end of its paid term.
You agree not to use Squish services to host illegal content, infringe IP rights, send spam, conduct attacks, distribute malware, or violate any applicable law. Violations may result in immediate suspension without refund.
You retain ownership of all content you host through Squish. The Squish name, logo, and branding may not be used without prior written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squish shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Squish in the 12 months preceding the claim. Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Squish, its officers, employees and contractors, against any third-party claim, demand, loss, liability, or reasonable legal cost arising out of: content you publish, store, or transmit through the Services; your use of the Services in breach of these Terms or of applicable law; your infringement of another party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; a dispute over a domain name you register or transfer through us, including any proceeding under the UDRP; or the acts and omissions of your own users and customers.
Squish will indemnify you, on the same terms, against any third-party claim that the Services as we supply them infringe that party's intellectual property rights — excluding claims arising from your content, your configuration, your own software, or your combination of the Services with anything we did not provide. Our obligation under this paragraph is subject to the limitation in section 11.
Either party claiming indemnity must notify the other promptly in writing, must not settle or admit fault without the other's written consent, and must give the indemnifying party control of the defence and reasonable cooperation at that party's expense. A delay in giving notice reduces the indemnity only to the extent the delay actually prejudiced the defence.
Nothing in this section limits either party's liability where applicable law does not permit that limitation.
You may cancel your account at any time. Squish may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or as required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under AAA rules. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits against Squish.
We may update these Terms with email notice and a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
